Thesis Wrap Up / NeoAgent / Contest Winner / etc

Forget Marty....I need the car!
Where did May go?

Seriously.

One second I'm wrapping things up at the old agency for my move and then BAM! It's June.

So a lot of things have happened, and I wanted to give some updates and promised info:

Thesis: So as promised, I'll be blogging about my thesis. I turned it in yesterday (*meep*) and I'm awaiting feedback so I can polish and then submit the final at the end of the month.

I can tell you that its final title is "Agent 4.0: The Literary Agent in a Digital Industry" and that your poll feedback was absolutely wonderful! If I could give you all cupcakes I totally would. But since I can't...I'm going to just tease you instead (horrid, I know):

Gorgeous people enjoying gorgeous cupcakes. #Hate

Queries/Requested partials: Still closed to queries, UNLESS I requested your project at a conference. I've officially replied to all requested material as of 1 p.m. today, so if you sent something I requested and did not receive a reply, please email me at my blog email and I'll double check.

Yes I'm staying closed to queries until August 1. No, I'm not opening early. Yes you should check back here at the end of July for a detailed post on how to query, what I'm looking to sign, etc. :)

Contest winner: You guys crack me up. You all were hilarious and witty and creative but I have to say that the winner is Gina C. who gave Mango her VERY OWN CAPTION! LURVES!

Gina, please email me at blog(dot)kortizzle(at)gmail(dot)com and I'll send you your ARCs!

NeoAgent:  This is the toughest part of this post. I'm going to keep it simple, because I don't have any details, and I don't want for this to be an official announcement on Liz's behalf.

Because Liz has chosen to move on to other endeavors, the NeoAgent podcast will be suspended until further notice. I can't continue it alone (listening me talk for 20 min? No thanks!) and at this time, I'm not comfortable enough to involve anyone else because of time commitments.

I assure you that had I known in advance about this decision, I would not have promised more episodes, especially during the Live QA. I hope you'll continue to visit the blog for answers to your questions and find me on #askagent every now and then.

What's everyone up to for the summer?
